Does anyone know a good kit for rack style steering? I emailed Sno-Tek to see if i could just get the stuff I need, but there website looks the same as it did a few years ago so I hope they are still in business. If anyone knows of any other kits i'm open to any suggestions, thanks!!!

Sno Tek is still in business. I have been looking at their front end kits for a long time with great interest. Definately not cheap though.

ya, i know. thats why i was hopin i could pick and choose what i need. i emailed them, i let ya know what i find out. do the polaris prox2's come stock with rack steering?

its supposed to eliminate the bump-steer and improve the overall steering greatly. theres more to it than that, but thats the jist of it that i got out of it.

also supposed to be less steering effort than a conventional system, and i know that it is easier to turn the sno tek set up but that may be because of the better bushings

true, but if you price separtely, then what do you have? price one of benders bell cranks, anyone's chromoly steering column, anyones light weight steering rods in 42", and after that you still haven't even accounted for the major component, the steering rack. then also the templates and mounting hardware needed. its not a bad bang for the buck if your goin full out modded and really hittin the ditches.

i dont know if i could justify that much money on something like that (and ill blow money on anything!). the stock front end is great on my viper. i dont have bump steer and the steering is really light.

this is going on a heavily modified srx and the front and back are gonna have lots of travel so i think it best suits it, thats why. nobody has ever used these? thanks!!!
