99 srx 600 gas and oil in air box

is it normal to have alot of gas and oil in the air box. i was looking into my sputter problem when i noticed it. it was a enough oil and gas that when you tipped the airbox it would drip out.

When I pulled the airbox off my MM700 to rejet for the ATACC I noticed
the same thing. Looked mainly like oil to me but I believe it is typical.

You would think a reed setup would keep you from getting all that spit-back, but it doesn't. It's normal and nothing to worry about.
