Any tips for sealing up a 99 v-max to make it water tight for on the water ? I never had it on the water yet b/c i just got it but I Heard they are known for getting the belt wet and sucking in water

Use caulk on all the places where the bellypans meet and where they meet the aluminum frame. Tape up any vents and holes with duct tape. Let 'er rip

Looks like alot of water can come in from the track underneath ?

Use a flashlight and seal any areas where light comes through the bellypan. Where light will shine, water will leak.

there are some holes under the carbs, you can seal them up with rivits.
