Viper Windshield Bag?

Just purchased a windshield bag from parts unlimited. It really makes no sense where to locate it. The most practical location looks to be in front of the guage pod. Not actually tucked in behind like other brands. I'd have to turn it upside down and velcro it to the windshield to place it behind, and then it still wouldn't look right. Is the front location correct? It will really suck to not be able to see my guages when the bag if full. Lame design IMO
 
I bought one from a guy on here and it doesnt obstruct the view of the guages at all. Not sure what brand yours is but the one i have is a yamaha part. I can take pictures of it when i get home if you'd like to see it mounted.
 
Yamaha bag. Had to use double sided foam tape and new velcro to attach to sled. Velcro that comes with the bag came off the sled in about a week. Once the foam tape was used didnt come off again, still sticking. All in all I am glad I bought it. ;)!

I would think it should. I have a low windy on order, but havent seen it yet. But on a cobra or aftermarket sheild the sides are the same as oem. Just the height is shorter so I would think it will work fine.

thanks acnas, looks nice! and you are in epping huh, I am in Alton! you ought to try and hook up with jimbo and I for a ride! we should be able to get bucky in on that too ;)
 
Sticks out too far for my liking. I guess I'll stick with the one I've got and do some modifying.

Do you know Captian Jay? That is who i usually hook up with to ride as he lives up that way. But hell yea more the better. Had some nice riding up that way last year! ;)! Where did you get that windsheild by the way? Looks great!
