My sled wont idle, it puffs alot of smoke and the throttle is very stiff
What might it be ? could these connected in any way ?

For starters - Pull the carbs and clean them and also lube your throttle and oil pump cables.

Did you fog your motor and carbs this spring?
Maybe just smokin because of excess oil?
I agree with Tod about cleaning the carbs first.
Any chance of water getting in your throttle cable?
I'd be sure to take off the cables and check them. I have had a throttle stick and it is
scary. I broke two ribs over it.
