Yamaha in the snocross?

cross country, dunno about the snox in the states or canada. japan had their prototype pics up and what not, never heard of it in the snox tho (at least at pro level). i heard polaris and doo (i know it was two of the big four, just not which two other than yamaha) dropped their funding for cross country due to the yamaha four strokes. kinda sad... i mean to be a big 4 and roll over belly up?!?!?! and you can't claim unfairness, you gotta step it up, thats what makes these things get better... unless its all about the $$$... (which it is)

it's the fact that yamaha signed the best rider in the industry and made it perfectly clear that they're putting as much money as he needs beside him, none of the other manufacturers have the money to spare that big blue does.

There have been some rumors that yammi is going to be making a two cylinder, four stroke race engine. The chances of this happening are pretty good i guess... the chances of it actually happening any time soon with our current technology... pretty slim, but possible. I'd like to see the outcome of yamaha in sno x for one anyway.

As it stands right now, Yamaha cant race in the WSA with their current sleds. The rules dont allow it.
However, if Yamaha came out with an 800cc turbo 4-stroke, they might get back into sno-x.
Id like to see it happen, but Im not holding my breath.

So Ive heard, Srxspec, so Ive heard. Ive also been told by someone on another forum that the Vector is approved for racing in the WSA next year when the 440 class switches to 600s. Not sure how true that is, though...
