Does anyone have any links they know of where I can get detailed information on intsalleing my reverse kit on my 2001 sxr600 triple?

Look up the reverse pages on the on-line fiche, print, and it should pretty much explain its self. Blue locktite on the lower gear bolt.

I beleive there is a link on the main page to Yamaha microfiche, so you can look up parts before going to the dealer... Lucky me, I have a fiche machine in my garage, and with dial-up, the on lline don't work too good.

Go to the TY home page in the lower left hand corner and click on the Yamaha link, look up the chaincase for a 01 vmax deluxe, I think they call it track drive 1or2 print yourself a picture......

HELP!!!
I'm in the middle of the install and the kit came with a 20 tooth drive gear. The one that came off my sxr600 is 19. The instructions say to use this 20 toothe gear if you have a PZ 500.
Should I put this gear in to get some extra top end out of my sled???
( a new chain came too)
It all fits.., but the instructions say nothing about using it.

Did you check how many teeth came on the new lower gear compared to your old one?
