ok i understand that dropping a tooth from the top gear will help with acceleration, so would adding a tooth to the bottom gear along with dropping a tooth on the top gear help more with acceleration or would this hurt the performance off the line?
thanks for your help

I believe it would hurt the performance, but i might be wrong... ive only heard of people taking and putting teeth on the top gear...

subtracting teeth from the top gear and adding teeth to the bottom gear will both increase bottom end grunt, and decrease top end.

yamaholic since i am subtracting a tooth from the top and adding a tooth to the bottom would the chain length still be the same?
thanks four your help
