I am looking to long travel my sx skid and was wondering if the long travel MM shocks would work. How do they compare to the viper shocks? How much longer are they compared to the sx shocks? Also i just bought max. tranfer rods. From what i understand i am going to have to get longer ones? lmk what you guys think. thanks

they are the same length as viper shocks and any other yamaha long travel shocks, now for the ride, this is just a guess as i have never tried them, but because they are mountain shocks i would think they are valved a lot softer than others and you will probably find them to be too soft for trails, not sure though, maybe they would be okay.

long travel

Do not forget the longer limiter straps and 4 10mm nylon spacers for the control rods. I just finished long traveling my 1997 sx700--awesome!
