All I've heard is how long it take to get a seat. I've even heard that some guys have waited nearly a year to get a custom seat. I can't even get them to reply to a request I put in 2 weeks ago! Is this a one man operation?

They/He had better get their s%&$t together before a responsible competator comes along and takes away all their customers. :o| :o| :

I went through 'Freak' (his name is Dave Wyson). He's a dealer for Boss and he handled everything for me. I submitted my request/invoice to him on Sept. 19th and I had my 'custom' seat three weeks later. I made one call on my own out to Boss to find out the progress and they were quite cordial. I had absolutely no problems. Personally, I'd go through him (or someone similar) to act as your middle man and to take care of any issues if they were to arise.

The product is nothing short of spectacular. I'm extremely pleased with the workmanship and how it turned out. While it's not the easiest thing to just stick on and hope all is right, a bit of tweaking had to be done for a nice fit; and it does fit well. It's paramount that you take your time to place all the snaps and whatnots in the proper location.

I have read some of the problems others are facing while dealing directly with Boss, and it shouldn't be happening. Not quite sure what's going on. All I can say is that going with Dave was the key for me and I received exactly what I wanted in a very prompt manner.

I bought three from "freak" this summer and couldn't be happier. I spring checked them in June and all were ready by the 1st week in September (just as promised). PM me if you would like "freak's" info, he may be able to find out some info for you as he doesn't live too far from the factory (that's if you already ordered). If you haven't ordered, his prices are much better than the Boss website list prices.

Boss is very busy this time of the year. The best time to order a seat is before the end of the september. I have sold 100's of seats with out to much problems. Right now lead times are out about 6 weeks. The sooner you get the order in the sooner you will get your seat. They simply can not keep up with the demand this time of the year. Just look at NickSXR seat. He recieved that at the end of August. They shipped it right when the said they would.

yep, you cant wait for prime time and expect mcdonalds service. if you dont order before haydays, you're better off waiting until late the next spring/early summer. everything is seasonal for our sport, if you dont give people lead time they get overwhelmed. ski

I ordered mine in early October of last year, and finally got it in mid January and when I did it was not what I ordered. However, it turned out they did me a favor by screwing that up. I love the seat, it's a real quality product and even though it took a long time to get I will buy from them again one day. I'll just remember to order early next time. I don't think I will own another sled without a Boss seat, they are that good and in my opinion worth every penny you pay for them.

In the spring, Boss will ask dealers for orders that will be shipped by October. This method is probably the best way to get what you want and on time. I have been in the Boss factory. Nice set up and good guys. If you have something on order and want to know when it will be ready, ask for Guss. I think he is the main man for seats. Mark is the nitrous guy.
