Reaction suspension

I dont have the reaction suspension, but I am putting a monoshock skid in my Viper. I also am upgrading to a 1.25" Ripsaw. I have 8hrs into it so far. All I have left is to put the track in and put it back together. 6hrs of measuring, cutting, and riveting the old brackets off and the newbrackets on. I used the stock Pro-action mid point bracket for the front of the mono-shock( with a little grinding) because it had to come off for the adjuster mechanism anyway. I had to remove the stock rear mounting brackets becasue they were in the way. I used RX-1 mounting brackets for the rear (had to trim a little bit). Overall not too bad. Sucks that Bender wouldnt sell me their mounting kit and instructions. I figure it would have saved me a few hours if I had those. Although I had the full suspension and the Bender kits uses your rails and wheels so you could add an hour back onto that time for that. I dont think the bender kit uses the adjuster mechanism on their shock, so that would save a bit of time. it took me longer to mount the mechanism then to mount the other brackets. I enjoy working with my hands so it will be a great accomplishment when i button it up.

In the end the rear mounting bolt is very close to the stock pro-action rear mounting bolt. The front bolts ends up near the edge of my running board stiffeners.

update: Still haven't gotten mine. They haven't returned my call from earlier in the week either. So much for doing an install over thanksgiving, and now christmas break is missed too.

Sounds to me as though somebody got in over their heads and now can't deliver. Terrible business. Hope everyone gets their $ back if they shelled any out. I hate to hear companies stinging customers along, I get it all the time in the construction business, drives me absolutely NUTS! :die:

Reaction Suspension shipped...anybody want it?

I was told my suspension was shipped on Friday the 23rd.
I will update you guys when it shows up.
Having waited so long for it and hearing the great reports on the Attack. I am seriously thinking of not installling the suspension and living with the proaction this year. Think I might go for a 07 Attack.
I figure I wouldn't get the cost of the suspension back when I sell my Viper.
I would sell it to just cover my costs (suspension plus shipping). If anyone is interested please let me know.
The one I ordered is in the Viper Blue color with the stock Penski shock spring.

Monday was a paid holiday for USPS and UPS because christmas fell on a sunday they get the following day off. Would this reaction skid work in my 94 VMAX 600 ST 136" with a 2000 Venture skid installed in it.

sandmanmike1, I don't think Bender has a kit available for the 136 inchers yet.
The only size I am aware of is for the 121's.

Cancelled my order yesterday. 1/3 of my season is gone. They were still telling me "next week". They were nice about it, but I'll have to watch for my deposit back. Too bad, I was looking forward to it.

I got my reaction last week to go in my viper, i was one of the first one to get because i was one of the first one at haydays to order. I do have a lot to tell you guys,i hope i can remeber everything. It did not take long to take old out and dissaseble that was pretty easy, but to put the reaction together it took about 7 hours i did take my time though so i would do it right, total time is about 9 hours. After i put it in i went for a test run, kinda a poor test cause we only had 2 inches of snow, the first time i took off i about fipped my sled over,it transfors to much weight , the limmter strap was leathen all the way so i did shorten it all the way that did help but i still think it tranfors to much for my riding style , as far as the riding not enough snoow to see how smooth it will ride i think i will be pretty smooth but don't no for sure yet, overall it it a very nice peice, if you have any ? i will try to be a help.

Just to followup, I noticed my down payment was returned...so that went very well.

Anyone have some miles on their suspension yet? pictures?

are you impressed with the quality of it? was the template good and easy to use? I really think I want to do this over the summer, trying to get a lot of feedback NOW, so I can decide and order in the spring/summer

Well i have had my sups in for about two months i only have about two miles on it cuz we don't have any snow, hoping to go up north with in the next two weeks i will let you no what it is like, for the rest of it , i would have to say that the quality is ok the only thing that they could of done better is a few things like, the paint is one, they could of use a powder coat that would of been better, cuz the paint was ok but there were a few runs in the paint, and they use a clear coat on it , on my front swing arm they missed putting clear on it so it was pretty dull, so cleared it my self then it looked petty good. The template that goes in the tunnel was really good but i did have to egg out one hole with my die grinder to make it fit so that was pretty good, one every thing else for templates were good i really did not have any problems, but the only thing right now that i am mad about is the direction/ instrustion they did a very poor job on that, they could of explain things better and had a few more pictures, so you really have to have alot knowlege on this, for the setup on the sping preload/transfor rod/limeter strap are all wrong the measurements that they give you are not even close so i will just have to ride it when we get snow and play with it, i really thing this will ride a ton better, bender did work with me really well when i did have a few ? their is alot more i can tell but i can't think of them right now. Sent me a private message with your phone num if you would like i will call you
