How do you guys feel the Ice Ripper will hold up? I know nothing is like studs, but I assume camoplast has to warantee these things. The ripsaw pattern and weight savings alone are reason enough to consider it, but, I will not ride in my area without some kind of ice saftey. My biggest concern is that those studs do there job when I slide into an icy corner at 70+mph.

Yeah if you feel safer with the studs, then that is a no-brainer.Myself I don't care for them, but the added saftey with this new track for stopping, well seems like a pretty good deal.
a buddy of mine has an ice claw, he says it works great for braking, but not like studs under accelleration....
i bought an ice ripper for wifes vector, will post the results once we get some snow....
