Hey guys, i am in the process of putting Viper front shocks on my SRX and need some type of nylon or teflon washers to act as bushings. I have been to all three automotive stores and every other place in my town and nobody can help. I only need four for the job but would like extra for just in case. They need to be about 3/4 of an inch outside diam.........need ASAP.....somebody help me out......James

i know my local hardware store has a lot of nylon washers. what are the exact dimensions you need? i.d. o.d. thickness.

I know this will sound crazy! but it works! If you have a lowes or a hardware store that has nylon bushings, there is a outside diameter that is just right but the center hole is too small, get a 1/2 piece of copper pipe type M( 5/8 OD) heat that sucker up & melt it right through the old hole works perfect! Had to do it last winter to add to my sled because the shock was hitting the track when the sled rose up! It works !

The OD diam is about 7/8" and IS diam is 3/8". Like i said i have tried every auto store and hardware store, it's weird how nobody carry a simple little washer! Anyway if you can get me some PM me and we can arrange payment and shipping.........thanks.........James

Try this link, in the find box enter nylon washers, then click around till ya find what you need.
part number 90295A173 is a 1" o.d. that should work. get 50 of them for $8.40 and I usually get stuff in about 1-2 days.
