8' Wheels???

I have the preformance engineering kit on my m10. Just the standard 8" plastic wheels. ;)!

7 or so mph? I assume you are refering to loosing top end when putting in a m10? If that is the case, I put the 8" wheels on at the same time as I put the suspension in. I did not see any loss of top end.

I was successful at resisting the urge to make a snide comment earlier about the 8-foot wheels, but now I see others have succumb to the temptation. That sled must be a handful to corner with, but I bet it goes over most anything . . . he he he

considering it's a 121' suspension, it can't be that bad. All the proportions are still the same with the 8' wheels. (121 foot with 8 foot wheels and 121 inch with 8 inch wheels)

Wonder what kinda gas mileage that thing gets . . .

Sorry, I'll lay off now. I just enjoy these somewhat humorous posts. They help break the doom and gloom of work.

Hope you are laughing with us, it's all good . . .

If you do get aluminums, don't get the ones with rubber on them. The rubber started comming off in under 600 miles. I have the preformance engineering wheels, and they said they would re-ruber them for ten bucks, to bad they are out of buisness. Well it seems like thats the case, cause they still have a website, but none of the phone numbers have worked for months now.

They are back, but I'm not sure I would want to send too much money their way just yet. Snoop around on Snowest to hear 1st hand, a lot of people lost a bunch of $ when they went under (those hyper-lites aren't cheap). I ordered a PEM offset axle more than a week ago from a 3rd party vender who was promised the axle this past monday, been 5 days and they have not seen the axle yet from PEM to ship to me. Sounds like they might still be up to their old tricks.....
