Where to stay in Paradise, Mi for sleding?

Where is a good place to stay at in Paradise? Four guys. We will be sleding from The Buckhorn in Munison, Mi. Thanks.
 
you looking for cheap or nice ???

if you want cheap try Moores Cabins or the Vegabohn motel, both are cheap and good places.

if you want to spend a little more try Curlies
 
I'd recomend going up to Grand Marais. Better trails around there Paradise usually gets beat fast.

When we go up we stay at the HillTop Cabins and Motel awesome lodging, bar in town, plus you get to watch the people at the gas station on the city cam LOL

I would agree with this. That little bar in town has pretty good food too. Plus there's a grocery store if you wanna get snacks, pop, beer, etc....

Where do watch the city cam?? Thats usually were we go is grand marais,.. my buddy has a cabin on deadmans lake south of town. Bryan
 
stay away from Curlies (sp) I told them 8 yrs ago after I was taken that I would do my best not to support them. They are the only place out of a hundred or so that I have been to that has given me the shaft.

I know people with a cabin on Deadmans Lake.... Desarmo is their last name... not many places on that lake... same people??

I don't remember what channel it is on but it is a city channel. It just views out towards the big lake and the gas station there in town. It is pretty neat to watch the people stackin up at the gas station why IDK lol

Thats pretty carzy,.. yeah there is two cabins,.. the one we go to is last name Bates,.. the other is towards the back and I beleive they own two cabins back in there and rent one out or something like that. The one I'm at is the one towards the front of the lake. We usually park there at the the "park and ride" and ride to the cabin b/c he doesn't have it plowed. I hear the other cabin actually has running water, we have to walk about 30-40 yards to ice cold toilet seat. Free, can't beat it,... nobody ever rides on that lake either, so its just powder for days. Maybe I'll c-ya up there. Small World. Bryan
 
Yeah, my friends have full services at their cabin. It's a really nice place... they don't plow the road but they are sledders. If you see a chevy half ton with a cap or a suburban parked at the end of the road... they are there. And yeah, it's two cabins... brothers own them. Normally they leave the sleds in the barn out back... but don't tell anyone... wouldn't want them stolen.
