Anybody here ever do business with Port Yamaha?
I see they have an '02 SX Viper with 5500 miles on it listed on their website. They have it listed at $2999. Im hoping they are going to make me a deal that I cant refuse.
Im looking to get some feedback about them.
Its kind of a long drive from my house to Port Washington but if they are a good dealer who treats their customers right I just might have to load up my Polaris and take a drive over there.
(Never let it be said that Im not doing my darndest to get back on a Yamaha! ;)! )

Port Who?

Says the guy who drives past umpteen Yamaha dealers and braves the perpetual Marquette interchange construction project just to do business with Port Yamaha.

I live in eastern Iowa, and get all my parts from them. They are great to deal with. Maxdlx

well i guess one more in support of port isnt over kill.......

they are great to deal with, i have bought from them at NOVI and over net.... great to deal with....

Port Yamaha is great to deal with, Kevin is amazing with parts, we have had a few conversations on the phone about tracks and things and he is great to talk to, really a personable guy and always looking to give you a good deal. I will definately be getting my next new sled from them.

Everytime I order from Kevin I end up shooting the breeze on the phone for like a half hour. He even stuck around past close last spring so I could sit on the Apex. Great prices and a pleasure to talk with.

Yeah watch out for that Kevin guy . . . :na

Seriously though, they have been very good to me too.

Why we can't have a dealer like Port in SE Michigan where how many sledders are?

They already emailed me back about the sled, but said they wouldnt have any pics for me untill next week, so thats cool.
Its just a shame that its a 1 hour and 45 minute drive there from my house.
Last winter I ordered a mirrored visor for a SnoForce II helmet from them and it had been 2 weeks and I still hadnt gotten it, so I emailed them asking what the deal was and when I would get my visor. Well, that same night they called me (they could have easily just emailed me back, but they called me) and explained to me what the situation was and that my visor should arrive in a few days. They sent it to me the next day (sent it next-day and didnt charge me any more for shipping) and it was all good. Needless to say, I was impressed.
Its good to see that Im not the only one who's had good luck with them. I wish that more Yamaha dealers took care of their customers like that.

Because I too have been accused of snoring and we seem to get hooked up on group rides to allow everyone else to get some sleep.

I got my snoring fixed during the "off-season" by adding Forced Induction. Got an electronically controlled Fisher & Paykel blower with adjustable water injection putting 14 cm of boost to a Resperonics induction cowl. It's not real pretty, sucks to carry on airplanes, requires 110V AC but as they say on Ron Popeil's infomercials "It really, really works."

I tried to add a about a 40 horse shot of "Dental NoS" to the unit but was advised against that route for fear of blowing out my bottom end. That's probably true as the boost level I'm running is already stressing my bottom end. Never mind that my dentist wouldn''t write me a scrip and the stuff Terry uses is lethal.
