Kind of hi-jacking the thread here but how much boost are you running Paul?maxdlx said:Sounds just like mine. That warm moist air in the night is great. Maxdlx
I think mine's too high as it's causing some "detonation" and "backfiring" when it blows me up like a party doll. The Doc told me to lose 30 lbs. and she'll think about dialing down the boost. She's a mean B

We now return the gentle viewers to our regularly scheduled program "Kevin is a Yamaha God" already in progress.

LOL...dont worry about it, Sledder Steve. I think this thread is on the verge out outliving it's usefullness anyways.
Everybody loves PY, thats for sure.

Man you guys are sounding older than dirt . . .
Come on Ding, don't we at least get points for making it appear like we're discussing high performance engine modifications?

Mine was at 11 when I got it, but I think it needs a check up as it doesn't seem to help anymore. They had me on 14 at the sllep center, man that makes you fart with out trying. LOL Maxdlx
Yah you get points, but it is kinda like golf . . . lower is better . . .
You can't go wrong with port. It's the only yamaha dealer I will buy sleds from now on.

I buy a lot of my clothing and accessories from them. They knock a little bit off of the list price, so that pretty much pays for shipping.
The other day I ordered a SnoForce 3 helmet from them and even with the shipping it was cheaper than what it would have cost me to order it locally from a Yamaha dealer.
If only I could get them to deliver a sled to me Id be set. They seem great but a 1 hour and 45 minute drive is a long ways. They'd have to cut me one heck of a deal to make it worth the drive. Hopefully a dealer in the Minocqua/Eagle River area will get a good used Viper or RS Vector in. I think thats gonna be my best option.
Port is a great dealer though!

I actually drive a little over 3 hours to get to my dealer. they are fantastic, get me right in, and always have what I need. where all other dealers were out of w arms a few years back mine had like 20. when others tried to buy from him he actually said no because he wanted to make sure he had the parts for his customers. didnt want them to NOT have the parts they needed and wants them on the trail when the snow is there. if anyone is in NH, got to pittsburg motorsports in pittsburg NH. talk to vince or kevin. they own the place and run it. I even call the techs to chat and ask advice about stuff. they will drop what they are doing to talk to me. and I have only bought the viper there loL! dad got his vector there last year. thats all I have to say
sounds like port is the same, MAKE THE DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
