Because i don't have an alignment tool i had the shop check and set my clutches up, now i have pulled both clutches to install new set up(springs, helix, weights), i have also purchased the MaxxPerformace belt deflection adjuster and it states to make sure you have clutches aligned. My question is do i have to get the clutches re-aligned because i pulled them both off?

you will have to get the offset aligned. Your center to center should not change and you can check the belt hight on the secondary yourself since you have done work on the secondary clutch.

I have the correct tool to check the clutch offset for $18 shipped in the US, would be a few more $$$ shipped to Canada. I can take pictures if you're interested.

Could you post a pic and how much shipped to Ontario Canada, P0J 1P0. That means i have to take the carbs off again, darn just had them off to clean.........James

Pic....

Will work on SRX, SX, Viper, SXr, Mountain Max, RX-1, Apex, Vector. Any Pro-Action or newer chassis Yamaha that doesn't have an electric start ring gear on the primary sheave.
