HI Everyone
I have 1999 Srx 700 and 2001 Srx 700. This is about the 2001, the 99 has no problem starting. In the 2001 the heads have been shaved, cluched, carbo-tech reeds, geared and 1 1/4 rip-saw track. It takes about 10-20 pulls to start. It doesn't matter if it is cold or warm. When it has been sitting for a week it takes about 20-30 pulls. I get mad and pull the plugs and dump gas in the jugs. I heard that there is a small pin hole in the bottom of the fuel pump that should be plugged. Has anyone heard of this or not. I am also thinking about putting in a fuel shut off or a primer. Any help would be awsome. Thanks :)

I would put a primer on. I have one and it saves my arms.... I think it is because the gas backs up and then your carbs dry out. so install a primer.

Would this be a headlight relay problem? Sounds crazy, but there was a relay kit that would help. PM mrviper700 I think he knows.
Blue, Mine does the same thing, it's normal. Drives me nut though. I'm getting used to it.
