got 1400 miles on my 98 srx 700, still runs strong. Changed the rings at 1200 miles.

my sxr 700 has 8,200km dads mtn max 600 has 8.700km and bro's viper has 6,700km. Still all going strong

sorry for the screw up, it really makes a difference. I meant 14,000 miles, rings changed at 12,000 miles. still looks new

I was hoping for 10'000 but now shooting for 12001 miles for new rings but I don't think so. 10,000 with aftermarket pipes for a 2002 viper would be a dream,from what everyone else say's hear. 4,000 miles nothing done but fuel pump freezing up. Two more years my son will be twelve and he will take it over. ( CAN'T WAIT TO RIDE WITH BOY!!) DON'T KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL LAST FROM THERE.
