Need to know real quick

I was told i should put viper rear shocks on my 2002 srx 700 for a better ride. There is a set on ebay ending in 1 hour at $78 right now. I need to know if they would fit my sled because it says for an 03-05 viper. My srx is an 02. Should i hold off for a set around 00-02 or will these work. must find out asap. any help would be greatly appreciated.

they will work but you need to change your limiters and transfer rods as well.
There are a set of four on this site for $150.00.
 
yeah, i can't get a hold of that guy. i figured this would be good if i can get it for $100 or less. I was talking to a guy tonight that did this to his and he said it's night and day difference. i just can't get a hold of him right now to see if he knows if it will work. he told me about the limiter strap. Can i still use my same strap and transfer rods?
 
You can still use your stock transfer rods but they must be modified. Your limiter straps are probably best to buy new ones. I think the stock ones are to short to drill holes in and still have strength. The shocks will fit.
 
thanks alot guys. If i don't get them for what i want, there's another set on there ending in 5 days, and i'll try again to get a hold of the guy selling them on here.
