anybody on here put the snostuff can on their viper, i had one on my mountain max and it was awesome. Looking at pipes or a can for the new sled.

pipes will gain you a lot of power, but there is quite a bit of preparation involved to have a reliable piped viper. Definately not hard to do, just gotta make sure you do it or it wont be reliable, or it will be somewhat reliable and horrible on gas. Rear heat exchanger and opticool head gasket are a must, and an srx base gasket is a REAL good idea on piped vipers. Pay a little more now or pay a lot later. Silencers don't require any prepping, but they also dont add any power. They do lose weight and sound good though. Your call, depends on what you are looking for.

From what i researched,the snow tuff can is LOUD!!But if that is what your looking for then it would be the can for you.I might have a MBRP trail for sale soon though,PM me if interested.

Yep, I have a friend with a performance shop. He had a mixed bag of used silencers sitting around that he let me take home and try out. I ran it against my Dad's identicle Viper leaving his alone. Every single one I lost power. Rpm's went down and he pulled me badly in 1000' runs. All I had to do was install my stock can again and I was right there with him again. The ones I tried were SLP, Bender, MBRP....the three most popular. I never tried the Sno Stuff , Maxx Perf./Hauck or the PPE. I wouldn't expect much difference. I do remember over on Rich's site ,**********, a guy saying last year he had the Bender single and the Bender silencer. He claimed the whole package was slower, but if he ran the single into the stock can it was a bit faster.

Sno-Stuff can
I have the Sno-Stuff can on my mountain viper and the guys in here are right, there is a power loss. Ive had the Bender can and now the Sno-Stuff can on mine and it is fairly significant. But the sound is awesome. I didn't want to fiddle with triples so I tried the Bender can, but it was too quiet for my liking. I then purchased a Sno-Stuff and love the sound, but beware it is loud. I plan on putting a Bender 4x4 single on it and see what it does. But I haven't got the pipe yet. I'll keep ya posted.

I don't understand why you would put a can on just to make it sound different. The stocker is nice and quiet and like the guys say, the stocker produces the most power.

The way I see it, if I want power I will ride my M7. In my opinion I like the loud sound, it is worth the power loss. If I wanted to stay with my buddies on their big sleds then I would need to put triples on it, but I don't want to spend that much money, so why not get good sound. But hey more power to you if you like the quiet rumble. They still sound really good stock. It's all personal preference.
