I have a stock 2000 SX700r track with worn down studs. What stud height is recommended for the standard track. Is it worth buying new studs or spending the extra money on a RipSaw or another track and not studding it?

I ride fairly agressive trail riding in New York with some but not much powder riding.

Thanks,

Weather in NY - Snowing, but no sledding until hunting season is over on Dec 7.

IF the track is in good shape no tearouts , rips or or torn windows I would jus re-stud
If you have any of those problems a new track is your best bet.
As far as stud length I think they are 1" but check your local sled shop for oem lug height

:o| UT-OH!! I think i might have a problem too then. I've got my 01 SXR700 in the shop. I was having them put the 1 1/4 ripsaw on with 96 studs up the middle. Thats not gonna work?? :o|

i have a 1 inch track with lug studs that stick out about a 1/4 inch and they clear with no problem they just go pass the heat exchager gaurds with still like 5/8 clearence to the exchanger so i dont think if u go studs that were alittle bit longer ud ahve a problem but i might be wrong
