Well im in my first year of highschool and im trying to figure out what i wanna do in my future... i would love to work on snowmobiles! that would be my dream to work on sleds. i know i would have to go to a motorcycle machanic school... what would be my possibilities i could do with snowmobiles if i did get through college with a motorcycle machanic degree?

I think that Polaris and Cat do apprenticship programs where they teach you the ins and out of the snowmobile design process. Im not sure about how you'd do something like that with Yamaha. I know that they have an R&D site in northern Wisconsin, but Ive never heard of them doing an appreciticship program.
Other than that, just take lots of small engine and motorcycle repair classes if you just wanna work as a dealer mechanic.

If you want to work on Yamaha sleds, motorcycles would be a great start considering almost all of Yamaha's sleds are 4 strokes!

one peice of advice, if you like to ride, do NOT work on them for a living. you are most busy when the riding is best
but it would be a fun job
