oil pump adjustment

[SXViper 1+2=3 cylinders]

doing a pre-season check and found my oil pump out of adjustment. it is at 22mm.... manual says for 20.5mm. so am i too lean or too rich? if it's rich i might turn it down to 21mm and call it fine.

huh? no, there is a black cable just above the carbs with a rubber covering over about 2" of it. pull that rubber back, and pull the metal nuts apart, and measure the gap between them.
