Reaction suspension?

What does everyone think of it? Its cheaper then an expert x. Wondering if anyone on here was going to try it out.
 
Mine is supposed to be delivered this week (hopefully). I am told there has been a delay in receiving the shocks from Penski.
Once the shocks are there (should have been last friday) they will start shipping.
Personally I was looking for the best bang for the buck. I feel the Reaction is it. You will save over 300.00 and from what I am told will not have the ice build up like on the Expert. I also believe the reaction will give a more comfortable ride (M-10 like in the stutters). The Expert might be better in the big slammers....not sure yet. The M-10 was tempting to me, but I could not get past the top end loss and lack of weight transfer.
A buddy of mine installed an Expert on his 02 SRX last season. Sure made an improvement. With the killer weight transfer he could hang the skis for several hundred feet.
If the Reaction was not available I would be on an expert this year.
The Expert also looks so damn cool in a sled!
 
I talked with Debbie (Terry's wife) on Wednesday. She was hopeful that the shocks would be in Friday. She said that Penski told them they were on the way.
I'll call them tomorrow afternoon to followup and post what I find.
 
Gave Bender a call and talked w/Heath. He said they received the shock springs today but no shocks. They ran a trace on the shocks and are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.
Can't wait!
 
I am thinking the same. I want to wait and hear how people make out with it this season. Are there any pictures of this kit anywhere? Its going to be hard to sell/trade the Viper if and when I decide to do so. I might give it to my women. I want an Apex so bad. I would like to have two 4 strokes.. His and Hers Apex's. ;)!

"Shocks are in production with the major change from our prototype being an increased range of adjustments from 16 to 40 clicker adjustments, and much improved accessibilty and ease of adjustment. Penske is also working on an upgrade shock that will provide independent adjustment of compression and rebound for those riders that enjoy the most precisely tuned suspension possible. Pricing for this option and more info will be available next week."

Is this Benders way of saying production wait time will be even longer with a potential Price jump?
 
Talked with Bender today. They told me the earliest they would be able to start shipping was the end of next week!
 
this sounds like bad business if you ask me. People like to get their sleds finished up BEFORE winter...

I can't believe they're still telling people this. I got out 2 weeks ago and now have an expert x sitting in my garage. I called them every 2 weeks since the beginning of October and keep hearing this same line. If they're having problems they should come out and give a real date. They don't want to lose buisiness by saying they won't ship till January, so they keep telling sad shock stories and say 2 weeks. I got a refund on my deposit, and unless you guys get a promised ship date I would do the same. That is unless you don't really need it this year. :die:
 
I agree. although I think it is a great skid setup and a pretty sweet deal..... I might get one next year when they are READY!. tell them you want an ohlins in the back there, there are PLENTY of those around lol!
 
I sure hope that people didnt tear their pro-action skids apart so they can build their new skid right when the parts come in.

I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's why I had to get something coming fast (expert).

I too like the idea of the reaction. It may be the kit to buy.........next year.
