The drop brackets on an MM have two holes . They come set up with the bolts in the upper hole(closest to tub). By changing to the lower holes are their any advantages in deep snow? I'm sure it's not good for trails. My buddy bought an MM that had been stretched to 151" and noticed his were on the lower holes. Just curious, Thanks Soc

Is that the lower holes in the tunnel you are talking about?. Not sure if yours is the same as mine but I have a bracket which the top axel and idler wheels are mounted on and this is mounted to the tunned with 3 bolts into the tunnel. Below where the bolts are, it apprears to be the option to relocate the bracket down an inch or so. Further towards the front of the sled, on the tunnel, there is another top axel and there is a lower hole for that one as well.

Does anyone know if relocating one is acceptable or if you have to move both and why might you do this, any advantages?

I think this is what sockeyerun was talking about
