I just put on a camo 9860 1 1/4 track with 8 tooth drivers. I think they were mountain performance 8 tooth drivers. The track hits the rails right at the black caps on the front of the rails. Makes all kinds of racket. It's tighter than crap right there. I assume this is because of the new approach angle of the smaller drivers. How do I get ride of this? The track isn't real loose, but I don't want to run it too loose, as I have 1.40 Extreme Max studs in it.
I know alot of people have put 8 tooth drivers on their Vipers. What was your expierence?

I pulled them up some. I have about 1 1/4 inches from the bracket to the end of the bolt. Didn't seem to help.

02 Viper. I got some info from a couple guys that have done this. They say it's normal to have to track click on the front of the rail with 8 tooth driver when the back end is up on a stand. It does get better when there is weight on the sled on the ground. So I'm gonna ride it. The maiden voyage will be at the TY ride in Houghtoin in a couple weeks, so if something happens, there will be quite a few guys there to help.

yup that happens all the time when the sled is on a stand, even with 9 tooth drivers, suspension extends down so far that the attack angle is increased and the track hits the rail end caps. If your sag is adjusted properly it shouldn't do it when the sled is on its own feet with rider weight on it.
