bender can?

holic, do they sound bad on the vipers?

no they don't sound bad at all, nice deep tone, but they are quieter than most others (except maybe slp), and they honestly look like a 12 year old made them with their jagged plasma looking cuts and rivets that loosen within 200 miles.

yes the slps are made well but they are very quiet for aftermarket and lose quite a bit of power.

they LOSE power? that sucks, thought that was just an srx thing.... what sounds quiet and doesnt lose any power??

ugggghh, just made like *** huh? well, maybe it stays stock. no real imediate plans, might just stay that way lol!

yea i mean its not HORRIBLE, but i think for $250 bucks they could at least grind the cuts smooth. LOVE the sound of the MBRP race can, don't know how it does as far as losing power, but the weight loss and the sound would probably be worth it anyway.

wouldnt it be LOUD though? really dont want a ton of noise... thanks for all the help (me and my incesant nagging questions!) :)

I had the MBRP race can and a Bender trail can.
The MBRP is very loud compared to the Bender. I hade them on an SXR not a Viper.

in my opinion the MBRP race can is not that loud for the VIPER. It IS very loud on the sx's and srx's, but the viper one seems to be much quieter, just slightly louder than the trail can.

Holic did you find your Aaen tripples loud.
I installed mine and fired up the sled holly crap..not as loud as the MBRP can I had but not as quiet as the bender can.

yea i wouldn't call the aaen sx pipes quiet, that's for sure, but i don't know if they are all like that because i never replaced the packing in mine either. They have a good tone to them, very b*tchy sounding, sound great at 9,100 rpms. The cpr's i had were probably a tad louder.

I just got a set on my 600. Tell you the truth I didn't think they were much louder, just a different tone... but yamahaholic, definetly sound sweet at 9,000.
