hey i might be getting one of these silencers for my viper i was just wondering if anyone has had one an if they can tell me how they like it .. also if you have any soundclips that woudl be awesome!!
 
My brother has one on his viper, close to stock sounding at idle but idle but when you hammer it it sounds excellent. Quality was good too, hasn't had a problem with it in 4000 miles now.
 
hey do you think theres any way you can get me a soundclip of it you would be helpin me out big timeeee
 
hhhmmm, hard to really get a sound clip without really hearing the sled out running, and no snow here right now, running it on the stand just doesn't do it justice.

I can tell ya you wouldn't be dissapointed in how it sounds, its not obnoxiously loud but you can deffinitely hear it coming.
 
Don't know what you guys consider loud, the rumble packs on the Vipers ARE NOT. If you wanna hear loud listen to a non-pv tripple with a Bender can, now THAT'S obnoxious.

very true, those redhead triples with the bender cans are loud, but VERY good tone to them. ;)!

Certainly can't argue that, they've got one of the most distinctive sounds out there, very sharp and crisp

My buddy's got one on his SX700, call it the Burp-O-Matic, you can hear him brappin it from 4 sleds back, lol
 
lol yea i have utterly adored that sound ever since i heard it back in winter of '96-'97, been hooked on that triple ever since.
 
mmmmmmmmmmm, tripple cylinder :) boy I need snow, my track installed, and a fall service lol! all in time

Had a 97 700 with a dynoport. That thing was loud.
 
:shock: I had a 97sx 700 w/ bender can and it was awesome,just wish I had kept it. A buddy of mineand our wives were in Quebec a few years back and switched sleds after leaving a rest. called Koubec and as I was leading I heard this wicked loud noise from behind. Yup, I turned around and there he was, mid air launched off a bank and that can was screamin. Scared the hell out of me! :2strokes:
