Power valves? before and after cleaning??

Just adding to what holic said. Be sure to take the whole thing apart and check out your pv springs.
I cleaned my pv's every 600 kms. I would adjust them also every time I cleaned them. Figured that I was doing it properly.
I was doing my pre season couple weeks back and took the whole housing apart on my pv's to change a leaking rubber o-ring. Had one pv pulled through and another pv had its spring broke in half.
Don't know how long that was broke. I broke a pv cable last year and I remember that it felt flat at wide open throttle. I now take off the exhaust flange and check to make sure they are perfectly flush.
Well worth the peace of mind and you already have the rest of the pipes off.
