I am going to long track my 01 sxr, I am going to 136" conversion. I was wondering if anybody has the Camoplast Intense (136 x 1.5) or should I go with a 136 x 1.5 Ripsaw? Which is the better trac?
I do mostly trail ride but will be doing a little off trail riding.

I dont have any experience with it, but that new Ripsaw 1.5" looks like a really nice track.

the intense is probably better in the powder than the ripsaw, ripsaw isn't so great in the powder but it ROCKS on rails, probably much better in the snow than the 1.25 ripsaw though being that there is a 1.5" now.

I agree, if you trail ride a lot go ripsaw. they are an amazing track!

the 1.5" ripsaw is the way i went.if your sled is 136" your still have plenty of fun off trail with the ripwsaw design and then when your on trail it will hook like a mother.
It is not a 136" yet but in about two to three weeks it will. I am going with the Maxxperf 136" cross country kit and 90% probabilty of the 136 x 1.5 Ripsaw.
I am new to the site and you guys have helped me with question about making the conversion thru the forums.

that maxx perf cross country kit is a NICE kit!
Have you installed the MaxxPerf kit? If so how long did it take to install the kit?

My buddy installed their tunnel extension and hose covers on his '97 SX (my old one). He didn't opt for the maxx 136 rails though, he used tracksusa extensions (which are the best extensions by the way), but the one piece rails would be very nice. Doing the full length rails shouldn't take you any more time than extensions because you will have the suspension out anyway, and you don't have to drill and rivet/bolt the rail extensions on. Be sure to get pictures up when you get this finished!

I will do a before, in progress and after.
