It seems as though I need some new idler wheels for the upper rear torque arm shaft that comes with the universal mount kit. These wheels run a bearing that has a 1.18 inch inside dia. I know that I can get them from fast, but I am in Canada and that would delay me another week. Plus by the time they get here they will have cost me over 80.00 for the two. Does anyone know if fast uses another manufacturers wheel and bearing on this shaft or are these wheels a part that I can only get from fast? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Any polaris dealers around? I know polaris put the m-10's in some of their sleds. Maybe you could get one from them? If I remember right though there were some minor differences between the polaris version and the FAST version... I think it would only be in geometry though. Not 100% sure about that, but you could try it anyway.

Thanks for the reply, I plan on running by a few dealers and parts stores tomorrow. I tried the local Polaris dealer for a few other items for the M-10 and didn't have much luck.

I had a M-10 that had the "funky" expensive bearing on the upper shaft. I had my shaft turned down used a 6205 bearing I think and re-used the wheels. Find a sled that uses the same bearing you want to run on theM-10 on the rear axle of the sled, and now you have the spacer material for the upper shaft as well. I think I grabbed a spacer off a Ski-Doo as I was trying to get parts off all 4 sleds on mine.

How the shaft held up since you had it turned down for the 6205? I initially thought that I had the older style shaft that takes a bearing that has a 1.125 inside dia. Fast says that they haven't been able to get that bearing for about 4yrs and suggested that I turn the shaft down to accept the 6205. When I measured that shaft that I have it turned out to be the newer one that accepts 1.18 bearing, so I thought that I would try and find a wheel from another manufacturer that would fit.

Cool, Thanks. I think that I will have it tirned down this week.

I did find a wheel and bearing that will work on the 1.18 shaft. The upper carrier wheel from a 2002 Polaris that came with the m-10 will work, unfortuantely they are close to 40.00 a piece from my dealer.
