Aftermarket Exahust

GYT made a twin set of pipes for the 94-96 twins that you can still find for sale from time to time fairly cheap. $200-$300. When i was going to buy a set afew years ago the guys at Maxx Perf talked me out of them. "While they do give you more noise and some more power it makes the engine peeky and hard to tune". They haven't steered me wrong yet.
Thats my 2 cents

If all you want is more noise I've heard that this works everytime:

1: Go to hardware store and purchase 2" x about 4' of flexible exhaust pipe and 2" hole saw.

2: Take your riding helmet and drill a 2" hole in the side right by your ear.
3: Attach flex pipe to helmet.
4: Attach other end of pipe to exhaust outlet.
5: Start the sled.

Should be plenty loud now, and it won't irritate the neighbors.

Good one! Maybe I will try that!

Im not looking for something that you can hear 10 miles down the road, im just looking for something louder than stock. Thats all

I have psi twin's in mine and it's not notice-ably louder than stock. At idle when it's cold, sure, it's a little raspy. But once warm, they are ok. Stock was loud and this isn't any better or worse. The weight difference was big. But then again, we're talking about a 600+ lb sled. I rejetted, changed some clutching and put on plastic ski's all at the same time last year so I don't know what the big improvement was (if any).

I have a brand new PSI single tuned pipe for that sled I could sell you for a fair price you pay for shipping PM me.
