Does anyone have any idea on who makes a set of carbides for these snoscoot's ? I checked my kids yesterday and the round wear bar's are half gone, I really need to get them some carbides for this thing. Does anyone know who makes them or what kind of carbide I need to ask for ? my local yami dealer can only get the round wearbar.
Thanks for any help in advance.

hey guys, do you really think that carbides on a sno-scoot is worth it??
If so i may get a set too, but seems like it would just be as easy to just run a weld bead down the stock ones if you need a better wear bar.
Just asking............

Why not try Hardwelds ? They outlast skegs but, would not be hard to steer ?

Hey guy's, I don't know what it is with my kids, but they go through these things fast. I have tried the hard weld and it only last a little longer then the plain round bar. I think it is because they ride around on the lake in front of the house and the bear ice flatten's them that much sooner. I just want to try a carbide and see if it makes any difference. If it does then I will try and figure out how to make them. I have heard that someone makes a carbide runner that is really close to the stock ones for the scoot's, you just have to put it in a vice to get that little notch in it to match. I don't know who makes these or what brands they are, if anybody could shed some lite on this ,please
help us out.
I was thinking(believe it or not), Has anyone tried a set of plastic skis for a 120. It looks like it wouldn't be hard to make it work. I may go that route. Carbides shouldn't be hard to get either.
we need to find a better shock for the sno-scoot. one with some real rebound dampening, not just a spring.............. or is mine just shot?? because it springs back up pretty fast...
