I am looking to put a bar riser on my 02' Viper. How high can they go before the factory cables don't work. Any advice or tips on what to use(or not use) would be appreciated..

2 inches for sure, some people say you can reroute the cables and get 3", but everything gets real tight, and your brake line may leak. So safely two inches before you need longer cables and brake line.

I got a 2" block and when I turn my brake hose is TIGHT, where are you routing the hose and I removed the cables out of the loop on the column or the oil cable always pulled out. my brake handle misses the stock windy by about 1/2" ( I do have the bars turned up?) would like to see a close picture for reference.

Ill post some pics. My brake hose is tight, but I left it outside the bar pad. The oil line did pull out before I let it free from the mounting loop, but it is ok now. Maxdlx

Ignore the dust

Kinda dusty, haven't had time to do any house cleaning, but here they are. I talked to my buddy at Napa, and he can make me a 6 inch brake line hose for 9 bucks, so i may do that just to be safe. Maxdlx the tors pic is before and after, there is also a clip on the engine that holds the oil line over tight, if I remove it from behind there it doesn't even move with the bars then. Maxdlx

Now they tell me they can't make me one. it is metric fittings. Anyone have a long brake hose laying around? Maxdlx

I went my local custom chopper place in town and got a chromed one with lots of length for $60 canadian. Powermadd 5" extensions are the same price here.
