I figured I would ask yamaha guys to help me find a carb for a bike I have in the garage for my son. The bike is a 76 yamaha model #Lb 80 3d. It's like a street trail bike with turn signals and lights.I know it is off subject of sleds but I figured I would give it a shot to try to find this carb for my son. Bike has 1000 miles on it and is in good shape was hoping someone would have something.Every time we are in the garage he asks me about it and was hoping to have it at least running for him by christmas even if he can't ride it now I wouldn't feel so guilty when he sits on it. 76/77 yamaha carb needed.
THANX! I HOPE YOU GUYS CAN HELP.

We have a place around here called Mr Salvage. His name is Rich Rossberg, Phone # 406 761 3151.
This place is like a Motor cycle junk yard and he has stuff. He is a good guy, a snowmobiler and I'm sure if he has it he'll take care of you.

Post the dimensions of the carb, might be able to point you in a direction for a new one that's not OEM. Have had to do this in a few other instances. What brand carb is on it now?

Sorry I couldn't reply sooner and thanx for your help. Thunder vally that is my problem I don't know what carb even goes on it. I did go to a salvage yard in which I brought the bike with me and these people had just about everything except what I needed.
I'm going to try lonevipers # he gave me and see if I can find something. I thankyou for your replies.
