Viper shocks on Mountain Max???

I found a deal on a full set of '03 Viper ER KYB rebuildable shocks. The
seller claims they will fit my '01 MM700. They look to be a more adjustable
shock than what's on my sled.
My question is will they fit and is this worth doing?

you will need new radius rods, steering rods and a spacer for the torsion bar. The ski stance is narrower.
