Dawg,
Nothin' like the anticipation of any trip, especially a snowmobiling trip. We wait through a long Spring, Summer and Fall to get out on our sleds. Because I live out of the snow belt, a 600 mile one way drives is necessary to get to good trails and lots of snow. Once I have my trips planned (usually around mid July or so), I swear I run through not only the entire drive, but I picture myself blasting down the trails as well.
Sounds like I'm not the only one to day dream.
Have fun on your trip.

Where in Indiana do you live? I grew up in Mishawaka and still have family there. I keep a couple vintage Yamahas in my mom's garage to goof around on when I'm up visiting.

When I started riding I started taking pictures. Today, after 35 years of sowmobiling I have pictures of every trip I have ever been on. Picked up an old parts book holder and use it to hold photo sleeves. Can't tell you how great it is to be able to look back on the sleds, the suits, the vehicles, the places and the people I rode with. Buy a small pocket size camera (35mm, not one of these new digital things) and shoot a roll on at least one trip a year. I'm glad I did.
