Hey John how strong is that 500 everybodys talking about, hear its pretty quick wish I could try you with mine.lol
I guess you must have tried a few different set ups by now?
With my machine your set up ran too high and rpm, did this happen with yours?
7900-8200 rpm.
Did you try any different gearing?
Did you consider shaving heads? Hear that can make some good hp improvments.
Any idea how much to shave them?

Hi John,
sorry for the delay, I really don't understand this side of the site. My buddy has an 01 vmax dlx. I am putting on Ohlins for him, revalved vipers. He is 62, 5'10", 185, a damn good rider, but not a ditch banger. I need rear skid set up specs. please. I tried to get up your way a week ago, but ran out of time. Hopefully in a week or two we'll come up. I would like to meet up with you some were up there and ride some more.
