Ok guys in one of my cylinders i have a white milky resisue on the spark plug
(water+oil=white milky residue) any ideas where it would be coming from that cylinder is dead could it be a head gasket or something like that any help would be cool :o| :o|

run ur sled for a while give it teh gas get the rpms up and then feel ur coolent lines if they feel kinda hard like tehy have alot of pressur in them ur head gasket is definitly blown. other then taht im not sur how u can check it.

I think you either have a cracked head or blown gasket - you might as well pull it apart and take a look. I doubt it's coming from the carbs.

like terret said, it may be a leaking head gasket allowing coolant into the cylinder. It is kind of hard to tell without a picture. It may be water in the oil too, but either one is hard to say at the moment. What I would do is see if you are getting compression in the coolant lines, then take off the rad cap near the reservior and watch your coolant flow. Position the hose just so that the coolant almost wants to come out and watch for excessive air bubbles coming out. If you see or feel an excess of the two points listed above, you have a serious problem that should be fixed right away. If all looks good than it may be an oil problem... but I doubt it.

Have you done the head gasket mod? That could definately be a leaking head gasket. Seen several of the thinned gaskets fail, and those head gaskets aren't cheap for the non-pv engine.

no i haven't done the mod its stock. not 100% sure if it is the head gasket but i can't see where else i'm getting it from any other ideas thanks
:o|

is your cooling system pressurizing excessively after the sled has been running for a couple minutes? When a head gasket leaks it puts cylinder compression into the coolant system and over pressurizes it and creates air pockets. You know i am all too familiar with head gasket leaks, old polaris's with pipes blew them all the time :o|

haven't checked yet going to do the chck posted earlier about the hoses being real hard tom. just realy wanted to know where to start and what all to check thanks Derek
