I bought a Sportech chrome windy for my 05 Venom. Removed the two screws and plastic washers from the back (dash area) and the current shield still feels like it's still bolted in somewhere.
What gives? or in this case doesn't give. Do I need to remove the black trim pieces at the bottom or something?

I've never done a venom, but most of them have o-ring thingies on the underside. Probably four of them that have to come off. The tabs poke throught the cowling and attach under the hood.

you need to separate the plastic from each other , there is a piece of plastic that goes through the hole on the wind shield, lightly seperate the plastic were you pulled out the screws , if you look down in there youll see what i mean .... also the y looking pieace of plastic at the bottom of the windshield comes off also .
