Has anyone had the problems of running Ethanol blended fuel in an SRX. My DCS comes on at about 6500 RPM and she dogs down. Is there any additive that really works. Its come to a point I cant ride around my neck of the woods because there isn’t REAL premium fuel for 50 or 60 miles. I live in Channahon Il. Maybe someone knows of a station near me that sells the good stuff. Help
You aren't running that new E85 gas that they have around here are you!?? The premium should work just fine.

No. I tried the 10% blend ( its all that there is around here). My SRX doesnt like it.
my 600 tripple doesnt like it much but I let here drink it anyway...sometimes you dont get a choice!

ethanol has a higher oxygen content, so more fuel is required at the same volume of air compared to gas
IMO ethanol is a better fuel than gasoline. If you ran E85 you would have to jet up a bit but its a higher octane than premium so it should run better
Also ethanol doesnt vaporize as well when cold, so it may not be the best fuel for a sled but once the engine warms up it should run ok
