Some snow? You guys up there crack me up 8 to 10 inches "somw snow" hell we get 8 to 10 inches it shuts evewrything down fo a couple days here we are supposed get another 7 inches today that will give us about foot of snow got everything a mess ;)!

We dont shut down for 8-10 inches of snow, but here in the southern UP, we ussualy dont get our share of the snow till mid January. So yea it about time we get "some" snow. BTW most places in wisconsin, indiana & Ohio that had those storms have more snow than we do in the banana belt, but yours wont last as long HAHAHA :WayCool:

to bad the extended forecasts are showing 4 days of 40+ degrees (including the upper midwest) between xmas and new year's

I know it's only an extended forecast, but accuweather.com is showing a major warm up and the local weatherman mentioned maybe a warming trend after xmas as well. It figures as I was thinking this would be the best new year's conditions in a long time. Let's hope they're wrong...

yup John Dee is saying the same thing, that the models are beginning to indicate a warm up, more and more evidence of it. That will be the third year in a row now of a warm up right after christmas. That is NOT cool.

good news... it looks like it won't get nearly as warm and will only last but a few days! ;)!
