2003 VMAX 600 / 2000 SX700R hight difference

Is it normal for the front of the 2003 VMAX to sit about 3inches higher than the SX700R.
Purchased the VMAX a couple of weeks ago and parked it beside my SX700R what a difference in hight.

But hwo many miles on the sxr shocks, I bet they are bagged. how fast will the front end come back up when fully compressed. maxdlx

remember the sxr has a 40% front sag set in and the v max has 10%. that could add up to about 1.75 inches right there. Maxdlx

the front end comes up slow on the SXR.
I have 4600 miles on it with stock shocks.
Maybe time for a rebuild.
