some one told me that yamaha is going to come back to snocross in the next few years is this true or not if it is it would be bad *** if they did come back

Its been the rumor for that last few years. They are racing over seas though with the vector. and i believe there has been some rule changes that would allow the fourstrokes to race over here this year, but who knows the season has started and I havent heard anything about it.

I think that yamaha should stop trying to fit in with the 2 strokers when it comes to racing.
They should open thier own 4 stroke class and if any other manufacturer would like to compete, they would be more than welcome. 4 strokes only.
I'd bet you would only see yammies racing yammies. No other 4 stroke can compete yet.
If they put up some good money you might be able to draw some of the big names off of 2 strokes.
Just my 2cents,

that could work, but untill then, they'll have to prove their place among the 2strokers...and from the sounds of things, the vectors aren't doin all that bad overseas...and i heard that bender has a Nytro runnin in the 600open class in snox...

The only thing that bugs me about them competing in the 2 stroke catagory is they get no respect (heavy, slow, the usual bs) I think the other big three should have to prove their place with yamaha' 4 strokers.

Yamaha Needs To Get There 4 Stroker's Or Hell Even A Clean Burn 2 Stroker Race Model And Go Out And Take The Snocross Crown Back.it Saddens Me Not To See Team Blue Out There.all Bees And Cats And Polar Crap.....boring
i think within the next 2 years u will see blue back on the snox circuit.. it will be in the apex or a new chassis with a motor that meets wpsa new rules... i would assume it will be the 3 cylinder or a new engine, but dont plan on ever seeing another 2stroke snowmo from team blue.... they are all but gone....

There was an article in this week's Snow Week about Yamaha's new race sled that will be raced in Japan this winter.
Apparently Yuji Nakazawa is back with Yamaha (he was racing for Ski-Doo) and thats a good thing.
