What does everyone think are the best bibs? Castle? Cold Wave? Gore-tex? I'm tired of my $20 cheapies getting my a** wet! What should I get for $200 - $250?
Thanks for any advice you can give.

The Yamaha by FXR pants are nice.
I bought a pair of Yamaha "Value bibs" last year for about $80 that I really like. Nothing special, no fancy graphics but they keep me warm and dry.

I have FXR Octane pants and jacket, they are really an awesome setup, great wind and water protection. This particular model doesn't have much insulation though, so if its down below 0F i wear thermal underwear underneath my jeans, and its all good. Great looking as well, with reflective material to boot.

I also have the Arctiva (same as pictured in an ealier post) and my but never gets wet. Warm, windproof, comfortable, and a decent value. Holds tight to the boot, good pockets, access to your pants pockets, etc....

fxr bibs for sure....got the coat too and they work great...
Stay away from the cheaper Coldwave bibs. The zippers are poorly made.
Edit--the ones you link to have good zippers. Guess you get what you pay for!

Yamaha Gortex, you'll be warm and dry. Little more money but worth it.

My fxr octanes are pants, they aren't bibs they don't have straps. I hate bibs with straps, they always fall off my shoulder when i am riding.
