Ski bumper shim install????

Has anyone done this mod listed in the teck section
to there older steely skis??

been wanting to do this for some time now but cant find the right
material to use, what's every one else using or used??

Did this a LONG time ago to my 97 XTC's. PM me your address and I will mail some shims and screws to you. Scott Bergstrom of Bergstrom Skegs developed this cure. He GAVE me a bag 1 day when I was at his shop. They are for the TY family use. I will send them as soon as I can after getting your info.

Actually guys, the Bergstrom shims are too short for the older steel skis. I had great luck with using an old drive belt, and cutting it to fit inside the spindle, behind the bolt. This totally changes how the ski reads the snow!

i have a 97 vmax 600 xtc,and have plastic skis,will this method help my sled if so could you send me those shims and screws,thanks,do i even need to do it to plastic skis?
