Just finished up the wife's sled today - added electric start, M-10 suspension, MBRP silencer, coated the pipes, re-jetted it, and done a little of Turk's clutching - she's pretty happy - maybe "special treats" around Yammiman's house tonight! LOL

Are you sure this is for her? I've been trying to buy my wife a new sled for a while. She said "Is this for me or for you" "Sounds like it is for you" Why do women have to be so smart knowadys.
 
Okay, you guys got me - the electric start is what was really for her - the rest was so it would be fun for me to ride - can't get anything past you guys! LOL
 
niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I want to make mine look like that taller.....is that the m 10 or something else that make it look taller....Question : what is the diferent betwen your sx-r (besides the aftermarket parts that makes it look nice) and my 1999 sx 600......That is right if the wife is happy everybody's happy.....

Here are few differences between your 99 and the sxr...

Unpainted tunnel, silver trailing arms, dual beam headlight, and of course the suspension.
 
ajviper - I'm east of town on Shoeman - Nicko - yes, the M-10 raises it up quite a bit - the sled always rode good with the stock suspension - should be awesome now
 
You're right down the road from me... I'm off of Coleman Rd. just west of the Marsh Rd./old 78/ 69 Exit.
 
You’re killing us with the polishing and detailing- first on the SRX and now this. Mama may not appreciate the cost and time put into the project now, but she’ll be all smiles after a day of riding in Muni!
 
hey, that thing looks amazing! I always wanted the 01 700 sxr :) the looks were amazing with the silver on the blue, and the dual bulb with low windy looks simply amazing. I want one, but not more than my viper. in addition to ;)

I'm orig from Indiana, but have been here for about 7yrs now. Where are you?
 
im one exit before you on 69 , i grew up on coleman rd. my parents still live there , but we are the east coleman rd. where marsh dead ends into marsh rd. , but im right off the bath webster rd. exit ..
 
Wow you're right around the corner... I'm off of Coleman Rd. in a subdivision across from Whitehills and the old movie theater. Do you ever do any riding down here? I usually keep my sled up north at the lake, but will sometimes have it down here.
