I whole heartedly second the SLP choice. Do a search on here and on snowest for SLP pipes and you will see that SLP pipes produce the most power, are the most reliable, easiest to tune, quietest, and have the best fit and finish.

I'll 3rd the choice on SLP's. Nothing against the CPR's, however for high elevation's, there seem's to be the most tuning info avilable for SLP's.

I'll put my cpr's up against ANY viper with slp's here in S.E Idaho. I'd even put $100 on mine (only because it's got a ton of other mods). But really, my group has 2 04 vipers with slp's; 1 with speedwerx; 1 03 with aaens; 1 03 with slp's; 2 03's with cpr's; and 1 05 with cprs. The guys with the other brands sure wish they had the cprs. I wonder how many of the guys that really push the slp's over the other brands have ridden with anything other than slp's.

Voting for the SRX pipes, I had CPR's and the mileage was terrible. These pipes are just as strong as my CPR's, if not better.
Here is what you need....
SRX Pipes $150
SRX CDI $100
flanges $100, or make them yourself
Bender can $100
new springs $30
So for under $500 you can have that sweet mileage, and SRX power.

We ride 7-9000'. I've also got porting, different head, and 38mm carbs. I'm pretty sure that the other cpr's that I ride with are jetted pretty much the same as the slp website shows for the slp pipes. That should at least get you real close.

You have to carve out the right side belly pan to get them to fit,so you can see some of the pipe above the shock, but it does not hit the shock mount. If you use an aftermarket can the weight is not bad. you will need to reweld the position on two of the three pipes on the can it's not much, you just cut off the two pipes that don't line up, hold them where they should be and tack them into place. Then remove them and fully weld the pipes back. The hood slightly touches the pipes but with the shields it does nothing.

i havent ran any other pipe on my viper but slps. i have raced a few with aaen, speedworks, bender, cpr. and yes i have a few mods on mine as well (all bolt on no internal work). my slps run consistantly well when the pipes are warm. fit, finish, sound, power, fuel economy. all there in my package. my vote..... SLP. not to say there arnt faster set ups out there, cause there is. remember when you think your the fastest, someone comes up and spanks ya. ski

VIPER-D,
I'm running bored carbs 35.5mm, gutted airbox, bottom shelf gone, holes in top shelf. Carb vented to outside of box w/tempaflow, SRX 600 nozzels (Q2's), stock viper needles @ 4, 4, 4.5 on mag. 45 pilots, 1.0 pilot air jet, stock viper slide cutaway, 152.5 mains, airscrews around 2 turns. With tempaflow set at the zero point (-20f). That's darn close but could maybe use a 150 on the pto. use a SRX base gasket.
